“Amanda is the calm, comforting, practical presence that I needed for both of my birth experiences. She first and foremost listened and supported my wants and needs, but she also offered great advice before, during, and after birth. Me and my husband can’t imagine either of our experiences without her there! She’ll forever be part of some of our most important life moments and we love that! ”

“Knowledgeable, dependable, organized, helpful and a source of calm - just a few adjectives to describe Amanda Moore's role as a doula. When I first met Amanda, I honestly was not sure what a doula's role was in the birthing process, but after getting pregnant with my first child and doing some research, I was willing to try it out. Now, looking back, I'm not sure if I could have done it without Amanda. Amanda met with my husband and I several times before our delivery and she helped walk us through the whole birthing process, helped talk through decisions we would need to make, showed me stretches and provided me with a list of supplements that would help prepare my body for delivery and helped me learn how to use my breast pump. Then due to me having to be induced, Amanda came to the hospital the night before delivery to help me get settled in for the cervical ripening, then came back up and spent the day with me as I labored and delivered. Amanda was such a sense of peace and calm when I was scared, uncomfortable, sick and worried. She never let a moment pass without thinking two steps ahead of what was going to be coming and making sure I was okay and prepared. She broke all the medical terms down for me and made me feel as calm and taken care of as possible. If you are looking for the best possible birth partner, I can not recommend Amanda enough!”

“Amanda is like an angel sent to help mamas have the best possible birthing experience!
Her gentle touch, calm voice, prayers, wisdom and pain relieving techniques were all a saving grace during my birthing experiences. My husband doubted the need for a doula at first, but after Amanda walked through our first birth he was sold! When we got pregnant with our second child, he was the one to immediately ask when we would be setting our first appointment with Amanda. She's truly a gifted woman, filled with compassion, grace, and very talented! Should we be blessed with another, I couldn't imagine laboring without Amanda by my side.”

“I met Amanda at my doctors office where she was my chiropractor. She then became my doula. She was wonderful from the very beginning. She came over to my house and helped me with certain moves to get my body ready for labor. She was so sweet and endearing the entire process. She stayed at the hospital my whole labor and put me at ease. She helped me transition to different positions throughout my contracts. She was my encouragement and support throughout the entire process. She even came over to my house several times afterwards to check on me and helped me with breastfeeding. I tell everyone she has a heart of gold and I couldn’t have done it without her! I couldn’t recommend her enough! She’s absolutely wonderful!”

“Working with Amanda as a doula was a wonderful experience! I started with her around 36 weeks and she went above and beyond to do two in-person visits to walk through the process and familiarize with our home for labor. Her calming presence and knowledge provided for a smooth labor and delivery that allowed me to be fully present and not concerned about any of the peripherals. She is amazing to follow up multiple times postpartum including two at-home visits, bringing lactation cookies and writing up our birth story. It’s also an added bonus that she is a chiropractor and can provide professional insights for both mamma and baby!”

“Hands down the best doula out there! And this isn't just coming from me. All the nurses and my OBGYN, after I gave birth to my son, unanimously told her that she is one of the best doulas they've had in labor and delivery!
Amanda listens to you and respects your wishes. I never felt like I was being pushed to give birth one way or another. I originally wanted to do an all natural birth at the hospital with no medication. My plans changed once I hit 5cm dilated and felt those contractions. I asked for an epidural and Amanda was supportive in my decision.
She held my hand through the whole labor and delivery. Made sure I was breathing properly through each contraction (my epidural was not fully working), staying hydrated, and got some popsicles for me when I needed the extra energy. She helped me change positions throughout labor to help the baby progress but, also, to help me find a comfortable position. She, also, has this magical doula bag that has lotions, essential oils, lip balm, and other things that definitely helped during labor.
When I got pregnant again, there was no doubt in my mind that Amanda would be my doula for this upcoming birth. Honestly, if I had to choose one person to be with me while in labor, I would choose Amanda over my husband any day.”
